Made in Colorado: Food Showcase

Made in Colorado: Food Showcase
Colorado is home to some of the most creative, passionate food makers in the country—and September's Market at the Center is dedicated entirely to celebrating them. The Made in Colorado Food Showcase, hosted in partnership with the National Western Center and CSU Spur's Second Saturdays, brings local producers, artisan food vendors, and culinary creators together for a free outdoor marketplace on the Main Campus Plaza.
Taste What Colorado Makes
Taste your way through a lineup of Colorado-crafted goods: locally roasted coffee, small-batch hot sauces, handmade preserves, specialty baked goods, fermented foods, craft beverages, and flavors you simply won't find anywhere else. This isn't just a market—it's a celebration of the ingenuity, grit, and pride that defines Colorado's food culture, from the mountains to the High Plains to the Front Range.
The vendors here aren't big brands or national chains. They're your neighbors—small producers, cottage food makers, farmers, and culinary entrepreneurs who pour everything into what they make. Coming out to events like this one is how those businesses survive and grow, and how communities stay connected to the people and land behind their food.
More Than Food
Alongside the food vendors, the full Market at the Center experience continues with local artisan makers, handmade goods, wellness and lifestyle brands, and community organizations—all set against the backdrop of one of Denver's most exciting campuses. Live entertainment and community programming run throughout the day, making it as much a neighborhood celebration as it is a marketplace.
CSU Spur's campus is open too, with hands-on activities and live demonstrations that connect the dots between the food on your plate and the science, agriculture, and environmental stewardship behind it. Colorado State University has a century-long legacy of agricultural research and education—and CSU Spur brings that expertise right into the heart of Denver.
A Fitting Finale
The Made in Colorado Food Showcase closes out the Market at the Center's 2026 season on a high note, bringing together the vendors, flavors, and community spirit that have defined the series all summer. It's the kind of event that reminds you why local matters—and sends you home with a tote bag full of reasons to come back next year.
Come hungry, come curious, and plan on leaving with your arms full of new Colorado favorites. Free and open to all.
